LESS MESS AND STRESS THAN KITCHEN REPLACEMENT.

Spraying comes with less mess and less stress than removing and replacing. Prior to any coating being applied to your conservatory, everywhere is protected including any surrounding walls or surfaces which are not to be sprayed – ensuring full protection. The spray machines we use are HVLP, this stands for high volume low pressure, meaning with us, there’s no risk of over spray in any other rooms, if you have a respray completed internally, or on any surfaces/walls, if you’re spraying your windows outside.

With replacement, you can be waiting weeks from ordering to making to installation. With us, all we need externally is a dry day and your project will be completed in no time! Internally, the weather won’t stop us and this form of work can be completed all year round.

THE PROCESS OF RESPRAYING YOUR CONSERVATORY.

So, what do Lancashire conservatory resprays involve? From the moment we step foot onto your property, your home is treated just like we would our own. We begin by protecting all surrounding areas, whether that’s internally or externally, this is to ensure no over spray or dust will make its way to places it shouldn’t.

Once the protection is in place, we clean down all of your existing frames making sure they’re free of dirt, damp and grime. If your frames are being sprayed externally, our next step is to remove all existing silicone around your windows and doors. This is ESSENTIAL to avoid flaking paint in the future. Poor sprayers will spray over existing silicone to save time, if your spraying firm doesn’t dig out silicone, run!

Sanding is our next step as this gives the paint a good surface to grip to. Once these two processes are complete, it’s time to mask. Masking is the most time-consuming part of spraying, masking intricately ensures there are no messy lines, so this stage needs to be absolutely perfect.

Now your preparatory work is complete, it’s time to apply your coating. First, we go in and give your existing frames a full coat of primer; this gives a sound base for the paint. Using a HVLP spray machine, your colour of choice is applied, this is usually around two to three coats, or until the depth of your colour is achieved. In between each coat, a de-nibbing process is completed, ensuring each a smooth, flawless finish when it comes to your final colour coat. The spray work itself is now complete.

We’ll wait until your frames are touch dry, then our final step in this process is to replace the silicone we removed before we sprayed the windows. All existing silicone will be disposed of and replaced with new silicone which will match the colour of your ‘new’ frames. Once the physical spraying of your windows and doors are complete, we will show you the final product, ensuring you’re one hundred percent happy before de-masking takes place. Once this is confirmed, we de-mask all sprayed frames and protected areas, as well as wiping down all work surfaces – leaving your home just the way we found it!
