Two days of this week have been dedicated to transforming the rear cladding panels at Empire Cinema in Wigan, Greater Manchester.
These panels had been subject to weathering and aging which made the building look dull, tired and dated.
In this particular case, weathering had caused the panels to become subject to corrosion. Water was leaking from behind the patch repair panels in four areas, all of which have now been treated. Corrosion was removed from all areas and treated with a Zinc Primer, followed by the resealing of patch repair panels which will now prevent any future issues.
Over time, you may find that the factory finishes on your cladding panels fades, suffers UV degrading, corrosion and aging. Repairing and respraying your existing cladding will result in an immaculate new look which will save you the time and money of unnecessary replacement – this is just one of the services we supply as the UK’s leading on-site spraying company.
Our spraying teams are highly experienced in the recoating of cladding panels, trims and soffits and have extensive knowledge in a wide range of products which are best suited for each project – all of which they are approved applicators for. For this particular project, we used metallic finish paint – RAL9006, which proved a perfect match to the colour of the original factory finish.
Cladding repair and respray works often require our operatives to work at a height. To ensure that we adhered to all necessary health and safety requirements, the panels were accessed via a 45ft Articulated Boom. All operatives attending site with access to the machine are owners of valid CSCS, IPAF and PASMA certifications – ensuring suitable working practices at all times.
